R&D Tax Incentives in Belgium (in English)
This internal seminar reflects the situation as per January 2012.
In this seminar, the specific Belgian R&D tax incentives provided in Belgian tax law were discussed. The R&D tax measures include both corporate and employment related tax incentives:
- R&D Investment Deduction or Tax Credit
- Patent Income Deduction
- Other tax benefits (Notional Interest Deduction, Foreign Tax Credit on royalty income, etc.)
- Payroll wage tax deduction
- Expatriate tax status for foreign executives and researchers
